         In Orange County very few restaurants I know take seafood as seriously as they do at The Original Fish Company. There it's a way of life and they go to great expenses and expend a great deal of effort to obtain the freshest and the best.

         My wife could hardly wait to let me sample her stuffed sole and I had to agree with her that it was as good as we have ever had. My crab legs were about as tasty as you can get, steamed just long enough to bring out the flavor.

         Excuse me while I break from tradition.
    Because if I don't mention the desserts I brought home from The Original Fish Company in Los Alamitos, before I talk about the fish, I'd be guilty of keeping the best part for last.
    And though we didn't start with the Hot Fudge Cake or the New York Cheesecake, we could have.
    The only problem is that dinner (yes, the fish part) was so good, we hadn't left a lot of room. But this was to be expected because The Original Fish Company has been the standard for fresh seafood in Orange County since 1981.
